Prerequisites:

  • You must have an active Mint account.

Step by step guide

1.Open the app

2.After signing in from the home screen, you will see the market at a glimpse.

3.The data included is:

  • Market Turnover: typically refers to the total value (or volume) of shares that change hands over a specified period—usually a day. In simpler terms, it shows how much money was spent buying and selling stocks on an exchange during that time frame.

  • EGX3: primary and most widely followed index. It tracks the performance of the top 30 companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange in terms of liquidity and market capitalization.

  • EGX70: is an index that tracks 70 small and mid-cap companies listed on the Egyptian Exchange (companies not already included in the EGX30). It is sometimes referred to as “EGX70 EWI” (Equal Weight Index), which was introduced to ensure each constituent has an equal impact on the index.

  • Most Active stocks: Egyptian stock with biggest turnover ranked from highest to lowest.

  • Top gainers: Egyptian stocks with highest returns ranked from highest to lowest.
